Lexington, KY – Highlighting progressive talents grooving for a brighter tomorrow the fifth annual Give Into The Groove was an all ages success! September 13th had The Red Mile’s Round Barn all a buzz with artists and volunteers lending their time and their talents to pave way for a sharing and caring community!
A volunteer fair meant to encourage the greatest of giving on all levels, Give Into The Groove brought forth a mere handful of needs within the community and people responded just as we had hoped! Giving was optional...entirely up to you...and Lexington GAVE INTO THE GROOVE! Aimee Lynne-Hirshowitz's birthday cake installation was a huge success as were all of the artist's presentations. Participating charities reported that they collected donations and most importantly were able to get lots of new volunteers and mentors for their programs!
Give Into The Groove was conceptualized by Los Angeles singer/songwriter ellee ven and Hot Sauce Records in 2001. “The goal of this power-packed event is to combine fun and philanthropy and redefine charity for a new generation. Philanthropy doesn’t need a high price tag,” she goes on,” We wanted an event where everyone can afford to be involved.
This power packed event aims to showcase DJ’s, musicians, fashion designers, and artists.
